Post Apocalyptic Story Maps

Vault 49 - Fortress of the Dragon

The mystical Vault 49 was built to experiment certain behaviors in case the world would go back to dark ages after the Nuclear War. Therefore, the vault was specifically designed to represent a medieval age; themed with dungeons, primitive tools and books of ancient myths written in forgotten languages. Being a bit too realistic, the vault was more successful than it was aimed, which resulted somewhat unwanted consequences. Vault 49 remained live and connected for over 25 years after the bombs fell, but eventually lost the whole communication. The fate of its dwellers remained unknown as the seer - a.k.a. Kind George - sealed the vault from inside and turned of all outgoing signals...

This huge map is 13500 x 13500 pixels with 96 DPI resolution, preferably 75x75 tiles (5ft each); which is perfect for virtual table top programs like VTT, D20, Fantasy Grounds and so on. The map is dungeon colored and might require players to use their own light sources as the vault doesn't use electricity for lightning!

Thanks for downloading and please leave feedback for me to make much better maps in the future.

Hello, i love your maps and had a question. Im looking to run a fallout game on roll20 with the new 2d20 fallout system and uploading it to YouTube. If I purchased your maps, would I have any copyright issues when uploading the sessions to YouTube? I would obviously pay for the maps first and even promote where to buy them to my viewers. Thank you for your time and keep up the great work!

Hey! That's such a nice surprise!

Nope,  you woud have no licensing issues with me. All my assets are also completely under commercialized license or free of licese so that's also completely sade. In contrary I'll be honored. If only you could mention me as you said in your video, I'd really appreciate it. Who knows, your fame can help me get more attention from public maybe? :)

Thanks again for writing and I wish you a great game! And don't forget to share your youtube channel with me. I'll sub immediately, can't wait to watch!

Take care.

That is wonderful news, from what i can find your work is by far the best for this game atm. Ill absolutely mention where the maps come from. Side question, do you have any plans to make a vault 111 map? It would fit the pre made adventure sold on roll20 very well. Thanx again!

I would think about making one actually. However, I've been avoiding Fallout canon story items for 2 reasons. One, if I'd have any problem with IP infringement issues and second I might not have all the assets to reflect the real location. I might, however, think of an "alternative" Vault 111, similar in shape but unique characters. I'll think about it.

Thanks you so much for your support and inspiration friend.

Very good points, and i agree that throwing a "personal adaptation" on the title could cover corners. Absolutely and thank you!
