Post Apocalyptic Story Maps

Vault 10 - Vault Town

Vault 10 was constructed with the explicit purpose of conducting multi-generational experiments on excessive sugar intake. Generously sponsored by Nuka Cola, every need of the vault's inhabitants was catered to by the corporation. As the Great War erupted, the denizens of Vault 10 found themselves confined within its walls, subjected to a constant influx of sugary beverages like Nuka Cola and similar products. Within the vault, an advanced research and development facility delved into various forms of glucose experimentation on the population. The results were catastrophic, leading to super-morbid obesity among the residents and unexpected mutations that rendered them independent of water for survival. Tragically, the reign of these super-humans was short-lived when a notorious raider band breached the vault's gates, mercilessly slaughtering every dweller within. Thriving on the abundant resources within the vault, the raiders established a stronghold. However, their dominance was challenged when a regiment of the New California Republic (NCR), aided by a mysterious hero, launched a successful assault on the raider camp. Subsequently, they gained access to the sealed sections of the vault, discovering an unused but functional G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit). Thus, Vault Town emerged from the ashes. Today, Vault Town stands as a unique haven, untouched by radioactive contamination, thanks to the G.E.C.K. Within its boundaries, natural greens flourish, providing a stark contrast to the harsh wasteland beyond.

These huge maps are 20000x 20000 pixels with 96 DPI resolution, preferably 100x100 tiles (5ft each); which is perfect for virtual table top programs like VTT, D20, Fantasy Grounds and so on. The maps are super big so I'd suggest cutting them into 2 pieces while playing.

Thanks for downloading and please leave feedback for me to make much better maps in the future.

UPDATE!

Both maps updated. I removed the grids to make them look clearer. Grids can be added via VTT programs. Cheers!

Hello!

Your maps are absolutely wonderfull, I personally love the idea that you always make 2 variants of vault maps.

However my feedback is to perhaps avoid using tokens on maps like those sentry bots on entries. Don't take me wrong, they are absolutely cool detail in map, but perhaps someone would not want to involve those robots as security of vault, and they can't be moved during combat ofc.

Btw, I am aware that there is zeppeling map, but I'm waiting for legit prydwen map from you, looking at details you have on maps it would be absolutely great.

Hey friend,

First of all, thank you for the feedback. I've always been concerned about these tokens actually. I think the same, I'd not like to see these tokens as a DM if I don't want my players to encounter it. However, since I'm only using "Robots" I thought if DMs wouldn't like to use them as hostile tokens, they can always say these robots are deactivated/mulfunctioning. But, no excuses. I think I'm not goin to use them again in my future maps.

Thanks again and hope to hear more feedback from you.

P.S. I was just too afraid to make Prydwen because it's a canon vehicle in Fallout universe and I don't know if I have all the required assets for such a masterpiece. But you make me think about it now :)

Take care and enjoy!

very nice \o/

Thanks a bunch! I really appreciate it, friend! Enjoy!
